Description
Key Programming:
- Blank transponder
- All keys present
- Depending on the model, some remotes are programmed using machines and others are programmed manually.
Manual remote programming procedure:
- You must have 2 keys.
- Turn the ignition on with one key.
- Exit the vehicle, close the door, insert the key into the door lock, and turn to lock (clockwise).
- The system will prompt you. thirty (30) seconds to complete the programming of the new remote control
- Within 5 seconds, press the “unlock” button once to confirm the remote control programming in the “ON” position. The turn signals will flash once to indicate successful programming. Wait 5 seconds and press the “unlock” button Once again, turn off the ignition to confirm programming.
If programming does not work, you must erase the vehicle.
ERASE
- Turn on the ignition
- Manually lock the driver’s door with the key
- Press the unlock button 5 times at 1-second intervals
- The turn signals flash once to indicate the signal has been received. Wait 6 seconds.
- Press the unlock button once to confirm deletion
- Remove contact
- Reschedule
