Description
Key Programming:
- Blank transponder
- All keys present.
- Depending on the model, some remotes are programmed with machines and others are programmed manually.
Manual Remote Programming Procedure:
- You must have two keys.
- Turn the ignition on with one key.
- Exit the vehicle, close the door, insert the key into the door lock, and turn to lock (clockwise).
- The system will give you thirty (30) seconds to complete the programming of the new remote.
- Within 5 seconds, press the “unlock” button once to confirm programming of the remote in the ON position. The turn signals will flash once to indicate successful programming.
- Wait 5 seconds and press the “unlock” button once more to confirm programming. Turn off the ignition.
- If programming does not work, erase the key.
ERASE
- Turn on the ignition.
- Manually lock the driver’s door with the key.
- Press the unlock button 5 times at 1-second intervals.
- The turn signals flash once to indicate that the signal has been received. Wait 6 seconds.
- Press the unlock button once to confirm deletion.
- Remove contact
- Reschedule them.
